Bronski Beat are a British pop trio who had their best success in the 1980s. The initial line-up consisted of Jimmy Somerville (vocals), Steve Bronski (keyboards, percussion) and Larry Steinbachek (keyboards, percussion). Somerville left the band in 1985 and would become lead singer of The Communards and later have some solo success.
