Emerson, Lake & Palmer (sometimes referred to as ELP) were an English progressive rock group in the 1970s. Band members were Keith Emerson (keyboards), Greg Lake (vocals, bass, guitar) and Carl Palmer (drums). The broke up in 1979, but reformed in the 1980s as Emerson, Lake & Powell with Cozy Powell replacing Palmer. Another version of the band called "3" included Lake, Palmer and Robert Berry.
